Healing through skills transfer...

Kids week

Picture
During school holidays, many school-going children do not have access to recreation facilities and are often left on their own.  In order to provide positive alternatives to the temptations of the street, the Kids Weeks were established.  During such a week, up to 500 children led by 70 helpers, attend a full day programmed for a week of games, biblical stories, crafts, drama, music and sports on our premises.

  • Children off the street.
  • Develop Leadership
  • Allow children to be children - provide quality play-time
  • Impact: 3400 children reached in three weeks!
  • 20% of the children become facilitator/ trainers for Kids Week!
